Lumbar Spine Injuries with Surgical Decompression - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing

There is a broad-disc protrusion at L4-5 with right sided predominance and spinal canal narrowing, there is right foramina encroachment at this level. A microscope is used during surgery. A small incision is made over L4-5 inter laminar space and a tube type retractor is placed. Right sided laminotomy is performed and the disc martial and bony edges are removed.
