Retained Hardware with Surgical Removal - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This medical exhibit begins with a skeletal view of the left foot illustrating the pre-operative condition revealing the previously placed hardware will be shown in place and most of the original fractures will be successfully healed. The screw over the base of the first metatarsal is shown broken. Next images illustrate the key steps of this surgical procedure. These images will show the open exposure of the fracture sites, the removal of the broken hardware from the first metatarsal and the additional removal of the hardware from the fourth metatarsal. Finally, one additional skeletal view illustrates the post-operative condition showing the fixation screws removed from the first and fourth metatarsals.

What attorneys say about MLA and The Doe Report:
"I have a medical illustration created by Medical Legal Art at the beginning of every case to tell the client's story, usually before I depose the defendant doctor. The work product and cost-efficiency are outstanding. It is a situation where, as a trial lawyer, I don't leave home without it."

Rockne Onstad
Attorney at Law
Austin, TX

"I wanted to thank you for the terrific job you did illustrating my client's injuries. The case was settled at the pre-suit mediation, and I believe a good part of the success we had was due to the medical legal art you prepared.

Your work received the ultimate compliment at the conclusion of the mediation. The hospital risk manager took the exhibit with them at the conclusion of mediation, and will be using it to train nurses on how to prevent bed sores..."

Steven G. Koeppel
Troy, Yeslow & Koeppel, P.A.
Fort Myers, FL

"For us, the defining feature of effective demonstrative evidence is whether, by itself, the piece will tell the story of the case. Medical legal Art provides our firm with illustrations and animations that are clear and persuasive. Their exhibits tell the story in a way that allows the jury to understand a very complex subject, very quickly."

James D. Horwitz
Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder, P.C.
Bridgeport, CT

"Medical Legal Art wins our firm's highest accolades for professionalism and exhibit quality. In fact, many of the doctors I work with request color copies of your outstanding artwork to show to patients during the informed consent process."

Jeanne Dolan, BSRN, AlNC
Legal Nurse Consultant
Golden Valley, MN
