Lumbar Spine Fracture with Surgical Fixation - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing

This exhibit depicts a burst fracture of L1 vertebrae with disruption of anterior and posterior ligaments, also depicts epidural hemorrhage and multilevel disc bulges in the lumbar area. The surgical exposure is shown from T9 down to L5 with placement of hardware to stabilize the spinal column. DuraGen is used to repair dura disruption.
