This stock medical exhibit depicts a wrist fracture with open reduction and internal fixation. The first image shows the fracture of the distal radius. The second image shows harvesting of bone graft from the iliac crest. The third and fourth images show the insertion of this bone graft around the fracture site. The fifth and sixth images show the application of fixation plates and screws to the fracture site. The final image shows an incision of the carpal ligament.
