Blunt Trauma to the Right Eye with Surgical Repairs - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
Blunt Trauma to the Right Eye with Surgical Repairs. This stock medical exhibit features depictions of both a traumatic injury to the eye and two additional images illustrating the surgical repairs of these injuries. First, one anterior view of the right orbital region depicts the external orbital laceration, swelling and bruising. Next, two sagittal cut-away views of the eye compare normal anatomy with the injuries to the globe. These injuries include a retinal detachment, a scleral rupture, displacement of the intra-ocular lens and hemorrhage within the anterior chamber. The two surgical images illustrate the initial surgical incision to access the internal injuries, the evacuation of the hemorrhage and the repair of the scleral rupture.

What attorneys say about MLA and The Doe Report:
"For us, the defining feature of effective demonstrative evidence is whether, by itself, the piece will tell the story of the case. Medical legal Art provides our firm with illustrations and animations that are clear and persuasive. Their exhibits tell the story in a way that allows the jury to understand a very complex subject, very quickly."

James D. Horwitz
Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder, P.C.

"Thank you very much for the great work on the medical exhibits. Our trial resulted in a $16 million verdict for a 9 year old boy with catastrophic injuries, and the medical illustrations definitely played key role in the trial."

David Cutt
Brayton Purcell
Salt Lake City, UT

"I just wanted to let you know that after several days on trial, I settled [my client's] construction accident case for $4.5 million. Immediately after the jury was discharged, I spoke with several jurors who told me that they really appreciated the medical illustrations for their clarity in dealing with [my client's] devastating injuries. They also expressed their gratitude in being able to read from a distance all of the notations without difficulty. Obviously, the boards were visually persuasive. I am certain that this contributed to our successful result."

Michael Gunzburg, Esq.
Attorney at Law.
New York, NY

"Medical Legal Art wins our firm's highest accolades for professionalism and exhibit quality. In fact, many of the doctors I work with request color copies of your outstanding artwork to show to patients during the informed consent process."
