Pulmonary Embolism - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing

This full color stock medical exhibit depicts a pulmonary embolism that has blocked the passage of blood to the lungs. A series of images illustrate the embolism breaking off of a thrombus in the veins, the pathway from the lower legs up to the thorax and the location of the embolism lodged within the right lung.
