Subdural versus Epidural Spinal Injection - Medical Animation
This medical animation diagramatically shows an epidural anesthesia procedure performed on a female. A needle is shown piercing the dura mater covering the spinal cord, injecting anesthetic into the thecal sac. The needle is withdrawn from the sac, and more anesthetic is injected into the extradural space.
