This stock medical exhibit depicts cardiac catheterization with subsequent vascular irritation and thrombosis in a series of illustrations. The first illustration shows an anterior (front) figure with a catheter being passed from the femoral artery to the heart. Three inset illustrations show detailed depiction of clot formation and decreased blood flow. The final illustration shows the figure with an occluded right iliac artery and the resulting ischemic leg due to loss of blood supply.
